Music makeover template question

Postby KrisT » Wed Oct 15, 2008 12:46 am

I was able to download this awesome template, but the calendar pages are missing September -October. Is there a way to get it? Thanks!

Somehow that file did not get enclosed in the zip file. We will probably just go through the list of people that have purchased Music Makeover tonight and email everyone with the missing file. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

I hadn't noticed, thanks for the fix.

I just wanted to put in my compliments to PTI and Lauren. You guys did an awesome marketing job on the templates (Can you tell my background is marketing?) Truly as a customer it is totally impressed and an awesome way to spend $5.00!

Way to go.

I'm just wondering if the problem of the missing file has been fixed. I'd like to buy the music makeover template, but want to make sure I get the whole thing on my first try.

I can't get this template to work. Have tried the tips on Lauren's blog, but my printer is giving me a template where the flaps don't meet. Anyone have any ideas that worked for them? Is there supposed to be another flap added on? I can probably fudge this thing, but I am sure she didn't design it to be so hard to use.
By the way, I did get the calendar files when I purchased it, so that's not a problem any more.

June, Lauren posted a question & answer section on her blog. I'm sure she would be happy to help you! (I haven't tried these out yet *gasp*, so I can't help you firsthand.)

I printed out the template to see how it all comes together. The flaps do not quite meet on mine either. There is about 1/8" gap between the top and bottom flap. Perhaps it was intended that way to put some type of edge embellishment on it?

I just tried mine and it works perfect. The opening doesn't overlap, but I looked at the samples and most added an edge or just used a belly band to hold it closed. Good luck and have fun with it. :)

On my Q & A You need to make sure your printer is set with NO parameters!!
Often many printers will print to sizable area! This means your template is printing too small!!

Make sure it says NONE (see my blog Q & A)

As for the ends-the top and bottom should come TOGETHER perfectly, not overlap. You can then use magnetic closures to keep the lid closed, or tie with ribbon, maybe a belly band, add a scallop or other punched border..............
Let me know if you need furhter help!!
Thanks

Just wanted to let you know that I had purchased mine on the 15th of Oct. and all the files were in the zipped folder, including Sept. and Oct. Not sure if that problem was for everyone!
Happy Stamping!

I talked to Julie about this a few days ago and we had so much going on with the new release, that she hadn't gotten a chance to get to the task of sending out this file. If you email me (nichole@papertreyink.com). I personally will make sure that you get it. thanks for being so patient. I'm sure it has been frustrating.
